Re: Alex Song......
Strange thread as I dreamt last night that we had agreed 20m and 100k a week and he wants to stay in London, but Levy turned up at the airport and signed him, he outbid us to offer Barca 25m and him 120k a week. Woke up in sweats.

Re: Alex Song......
I may be over positive, but we can offer him the one thing that most clubs already mentioned on here can't and that's guaranteed first team football when he's fit, as we don't have anyone good enough to rotate him with, which he'd probably get elsewhere.

I'm sure he craves that above all else after sitting on his arse at Barca for a couple of years.

Ferguson only re-signed one player at Man Utd...

Mark BOSNICH.

Re: Alex Song......
Campbell, Flamini, Lehman and Henry all had two different spells with them.

Pancho 4:45 Tue Dec 16
Re: Alex Song......
Don't think he re-signed Campbell, he just opened the closet door and let him step out.

Re: Alex Song......
Wenger re-signed Campbell as well didn't he?

Did he re-sign Lehmann as well?

Re: Alex Song......
Fabregas not signing for them was fucking shocking. What team who has first refusal on him lets him slide.

Don't think he's re-signed anyone but they really could do with Song in the form he's in.

Re-signed Flamini...

Ah! Answered my own question. That other Frenchy from AC Milan.

Genuine question, apart from Henry's cameo a couple seasons back, what player has Wenger re-signed for the goon?

Song and Fabregas should have been two bankers for the bloke!

LOL. I'm still waiting for him to turn up. Now put your cock away you fucking embarassment.

Like I say, let's see how this pans out instead of talking it to death every day, it's getting boring.

Re: Alex Song......
He's a very classy player, the likes of which we don't see often at Upton park these days.

It's a worthy thread.

Re: Alex Song......
If we let Song go we will be playing Championship football in the OS and not Champions League football.

He doesn't want to live in the north, Arsenal has treated him like shit, and Chelsea have players at his position but yes he could go there. We have a great opportunity to keep him if we aren't cheap.

And fuck Nolan and Noble off ASAP I can't believe a club challenging for a top 4 spot would trot out such useless players.

Pancho 4:17 Tue Dec 16
Re: Alex Song......
If a club with Champions League football comes in for him, and they will, he'll be off like a fucking shot.

Arsenal I think could be a decent shout to nick him back.

As rodfarts says we will never have a chance at signing someone this good in the near future at the absolute peak of their career. He epitomizes our style of play with his creative passing and he is our rock defensively.

We are a bottom 10 club and are irrelevant without him. And all our other good players have serious issues. Ried- wants to leave. Valencia- new to the Prem and skinny. Sakho- the boy has set the bar damned high for himself and might not be able to reach it. Kouyate- good player but nowhere near Song. And finally we have Downing. Stu is brilliant right now but hes 30 fingers crossed hes still good enough and close to what he is now that first season in the Prem.

Take away Song and we aren't that good. With Song we can win the league with a couple good singings.

Re: Alex Song......
I realise that we are desperate for a hero and a top player, but this Song love in on here is getting a little OTTnow.

He has said himself that the situation will be sorted either way in the summer. So how about waiting until then instead of starting threads on him and sucking his cock every fucking day?

If he carries on playing like he is he can wear a gimp mask and Ugg boots for all I care.

Re: Alex Song......
Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal will be ALL OVER HIM in the summer. I'm more worried about them than Liverpool and Spurs, who fingers crossed we can finish above this season.

penners28 3:13 Tue Dec 16
Re: Alex Song......
At the moment he's probably fed up with people constantly asking if he's staying. If i was G&S i'd be looking to tie him down in jan . Give him fucking silly money as he's more than worth it.

If all else fails get sammy on his case and invite him out for RIB

The Human Stain 3:10 Tue Dec 16
Re: Alex Song......
I'll admit he can spot a pass but we can't have footballers playing in nappies.
